Why are hipsters decorating their beards with Christmas ornaments?

We brought this upon ourselves. Aloud to flourish as a trend, the hipster beard has grown far too powerful. Over the summer, we already had to deal with the “flower beard.” Now, Beard Baubles are here, and they’re basically Christmas ornaments for facial hair.

Why are they doing this? Well, all joking aside, Beard Baubles are actually being sold for a good cause, with profits going to This Is Beard Season, an Australian melanoma charity.

$7.80 gets you a package with 14 of these little guys inside. But according to Slate, they “struck joy in hipster hearts, selling out in a few days.”
