Why did Justin Bieber break down in tears after his VMAs performance?

At the conclusion of his unexpectedly galvanizing VMAs performance, pop superstar Justin Bieber broke down in tears as fans' cheers turned into a standing ovation. But what actually made his emotions run wild when all was said and done?

Furthermore, he claims that the last time he took the stage at an awards show, he was booed. “I honestly wasn't expecting them to support me in the way they did,” the singer admitted. “I've worked so hard at this album, I've worked so hard at becoming the man I want to become. You’re probably wondering why Justin Bieber is receiving coverage on AltPress when he is obviously not alternative in any way, shape or form. The truth is, as we noted in our New Songs You Need To Hear From August 2015 list, his latest Skrillex-produced single, “What Do You Mean?,” actually showcases his progression as an artist. He’s not the same kid you heard on “Baby” anymore. He’s evolving and learning to hone his craft, and one person that is aiding him in that journey is Skrillex (a.k.a. Sonny Moore). You may know that before Moore was commanding radio waves around the world, he fronted the post-hardcore group From First To Last. Someone from our scene is assisting Justin Bieber in not only his development as a musician and vocalist, but as a person as well. If that isn’t incredibly awesome, then this writer doesn’t know what is.
