Will Smith reportedly developing 'Fresh Prince'-styled comedy show
Earlier today, TV Line exclusively reported that The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air will be receiving a reboot with Will Smith solely serving as a producer.
Later on, however, Variety came forth with supposed confirmation that Smith’s production company, Overbrook Entertainment, is in the infantile stages of developing a new, Fresh Prince-esque comedy show. While not a reboot by any means, the series will reportedly share some of Bel-Air’s notable qualities.

Variety also added that the show would be produced by Smith, along with Overbrook partners James Lassiter, Caleeb Pinkett and Jada Pinkett-Smith.
The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air made its debut in 1990 and ran through 1996, spanning the course of six seasons. Universal TV currently owns the show’s rights.
