William Control has announced that he will be canceling his forthcoming tour dates and, after the release of his forthcoming EP, will no longer be making music.

“I think that after all these years on the road, I've had my fill,” he writes. “It's time to put my dancing shoes away.”

The former Aiden ringleader founded his project back in 2008. Since then he has released five studio albums and various EPs, live albums and acoustic albums over the years.

In his post, he explains that he has one last EP to release, which he says will be available next month.

“I love you and will cherish all the memories I've made over the years,” William Control wrote in his post.

Thank you San Antonio for the wonderful memories.

To anyone that was looking forward to seeing us on the east coast I'm really sorry but we are headed home tonight. I think that after all these years on the road, I've had my fill. It's time to put my dancing shoes away.

Thanks to Motionless In White for having us out, what a fantastic tour it was all around. I'm so grateful for the opportunity.

We still have one last EP to release so be on the lookout for that next month.

I love you and will cherish all the memories I've made over the years.

All my love
William Control
