Within The Ruins destroy van, trailer, all gear in serious highway accident
Within The Ruins were involved in a serious highway accident yesterday afternoon, in which their van, trailer and gear were all destroyed. Thankfully, nobody was seriously injured.

“We rolled about three times from what I can remember and landed on the median. Our van and trailer are totaled.” says guitarist Joe Cocchi.
The band had just left their home in MA and were on their way to join Suicide Silence's impending headlining tour when the incident took place. Despite their near-death experience, WTR will only be missing the first two dates of the tour, as they will meet up with the rest of the package this Friday in Seattle.
A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to help make up for some of gear lost in the wreckage.
“All I can say is that we're happy to be alive,” Cocchi continues. “I don't know how, but none of us were injured. We're on the road touring because this is all we know and love, and we want to continue. Help us get back on our feet by picking up a shirt. Thank you all for the continued support.”
