Variety reports that, although this may not be the exact number, Jenkins is set to receive somewhere around $8 million to write, direct, and produce the movie, making her the highest paid female director of all time. Jenkins' contract will also include a substantial amount of box office grosses.

The script for the sequel is already being written by Jenkins alongside Geoff Johns (who oversees the DC Universe) and Jon Berg (Warner Bros.) who hope to “make another great Wonder Woman film.”

Wonder Woman was made with a $150 million budget and brought in an impressive $409 million at the domestic box office and $813 million worldwide. It's the fourth installment from the DC Universe, following 2013's Man Of Steel,  2016's Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice, and lastly Suicide Squad

The movie is set to be released on Dec 13, 2019.
