Woodstock 50 makes desperate plea for new venue to save event

Following the loss of their venue, Woodstock 50 is getting desperate to find a new space to host their event.

The festival made an embarrassingly sad effort to secure a venue on social media asking the town of Vernon to approve their event without going through the proper channels.

The event quickly fell apart after investors backed out and they lost their original venue due to their contract.

It was then revealed the event found a new venue with a severely reduced capacity. None of the roughly 80 artists set to perform were informed of the venue change, but it appears now that the venue still hasn’t been cleared.

The festival are posting a last-ditch effort just 35 days before the event is supposed to take place asking the town of Vernon to approve their permits.

It’s highly unlikely the town makes an exception for the event and clears all of their permits simply because it would be a fun festival.

On top of that, the new venue is nearly two-hours away from where it was originally scheduled for meaning many artists are likely to pull out due to breach of contract.

It should go without saying at this point, but after today’s post it’s all but guaranteed Woodstock 50 is not happening anymore.
