You are not allowed to bring selfie sticks to Coachella or Lollapalooza

According to the FAQ sections of both Coachella and Lollapalooza's websites, selfie sticks are among the prohibited items listed for both festivals, (via BrooklynVegan). Lollapalooza's listing reads, “[No] GoPro attachments like sticks, selfie sticks [and] monopods,” while Coachella's is a little more specific: “[No] selfie sticks/narsisstics.”

As we reported earlier this year, the selfie stick was apparently a really hot Christmas item in 2014, and the live music scene has been inundated with them ever since.
