You can now share Tweets in DMs on Twitter

Twitter has taken the first step toward improving their direct messaging feature—which has always been annoyingly restrictive and lackluster. Now, you’re able to share tweets within your DMs. All you have to do is click on the tweet’s “…” icon and choose “share via direct message.” Yes, it’s 2014, and this is just now happening.

The tweet attaches like an embedded image/video and doesn’t take away from the DM’s 160-character limit. Earlier last week, the company also enabled URL sharing in DMs again.
