You may have free tickets to redeem on your Ticketmaster account

After settling a 13 year lawsuit over “excessive and deceptive” fees, Ticketmaster is issuing free ticket vouchers to US customers who bought tickets between October 1999 and February 2013 and did not receive a refund on their “Order Processing Fee.”

According to CNN Money, Ticketmaster should be done distributing the free tickets “on or around June 18.”

After beginning in 2003, the lawsuit settlement occurred in April, and ended with Ticketmaster having to pay back $45 million worth of cash, discounts and tickets to eligible customers. Those customers will get at least one ticket code in their accounts, which will cover two general admission tickets to selected events at venues under Live Nation, Ticketmaster's parent company.
