Here’s YouTube’s most streamed music videos

YouTube is sharing its most streamed music videos of 2018, and the top 10 includes Drake and Maroon 5 (obviously), plus eight Spanish-language tracks.

Apple‘s most-downloaded iPhone app of 2018 is also releasing its end of the year lists. Are you wondering what that many people wanted to watch when they downloaded YouTube?

Variety is sharing the answer. The top 10 most-viewed music videos of the year include Maroon 5’s “Girls Like You” featuring Cardi B at No. 3 and Drake’s “God’s Plan” at No. 8. Not that we’re surprised.

Plus, Puerto Rican singer Ozuna takes three of the top spots. The remaining five videos are also Spanish-language songs.

Although Ariana Grande‘s super fetch “thank u, next” video didn’t make the list, it broke some YouTube records. After beating BTS‘ “Idol” for the record of most views in 24 hours, it became the fastest video to reach 100 million views. It only took the video four days to reach the milestone.

More end of the year lists

Twitter recently reviewed who was the most popular artist on the platform this year, and English also isn’t their first language. South Korean boy band BTS were the most-tweeted-about account on Twitter in 2018, besting both LeBron James in second place and Kanye West just after. You can check the full list here.

Apple Music has also shared their end of the year list, and some of our faves are on it. While, Drake unsurprisingly dominated the list, Post Malone and 5 Seconds Of Summer made the top 100 as well. Find out who else got on the list here.

Billboard dropped both the top 10 songs of 2018, which also includes Post Malone twice, and the highest-grossing tours of the year.
