The new service is reportedly set to launch in March, Bloomberg has shared, in an attempt to catch up with streaming platforms Spotify and Apple.

Bloomberg says YouTube may be launching the site to “appease record-industry executives” who have been pushing for more revenue from YouTube.

YouTube's platform is reportedly referred to as “Remix,” and Bloomberg explains that it would incorporate both on-demand streaming and video elements that YouTube is known for.
