‘Zombieland: Double Tap’ is “worth the 10 year wait,” premiere crowd says
After 10 years of waiting, we only have to wait one more week for the sequel of Zombieland, Zombieland: Double Tap, to debut in theaters.
The film premiered in Los Angeles on Thursday ahead of the theatrical release, and those who got to see it ahead of time seemed to have highly favorable reactions for the sequel.

The film brings back the original cast of Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin, which we first saw in the first official trailer.
It also features new characters played by Thomas Middleditch (Silicon Valley), Zoey Deutch (Flower), Rosario Dawson (Jane the Virgin) and Luke Wilson (Old School).
Eisenberg confirmed that the film will pick up ten years later, with our favorite characters making a home in the abandoned White House.
“It took ten years to make because we were just insistent that the script be great — which sounds like it should be obvious, but that’s not always the case,” Eisenberg explains.
“Because the movie is not only popular but also beloved, people feel like it has some personal resonance for them, so we wanted to make sure that it’s as good or better than the first, and it feels that way! We have two weeks left and it feels really great. Everything we’ve done feels very funny.”

Now, the film is finally gearing up to release, and we could not be more excited. Those lucky few who got to see the film ahead of time said it’s comical and picks up right where the 2009 film left off. Someone even said the “sequel is well worth the 10 year wait”. You can see some of the first reactions to Zombieland: Double Tap below.
Zombieland: Double Tap is a bloody blast. This long awaited sequel is well worth the 10 year wait. A twisted blend of comedy & horror with bigger & badder zombies. The entire cast is great but Zoey Deutch as Madison steals every scene & is the film’s MVP. #Zombieland2 #DoubleTap pic.twitter.com/7XcVZ1CGsE

Quick #Zombieland2 non spoiler review. The movie is a lot of fun definitely more comedic. The new additional cast didn’t overbear the original cast lThere’s a mid credits and after credits like Marvel movies. Will have a full review later tonight.
