This 'Nightmare Before Christmas' gingerbread house is a Halloween feat of edible engineering

“Just because I cannot see it, doesn't mean I can't believe it!” sang Jack Skellington in Tim Burton's classic 1993 film The Nightmare Before Christmas. But you can see and believe this amazing Nightmare Before Christmas-themed gingerbread house that Disney just cooked up for Halloween! Check it out!

As reported by Cosmopolitan, the amazing concoction is now on display at the Haunted Mansion Holiday at Disneyland. A 7-foot-tall gingerbread Oogie Boogie, the villain from Nightmare, menacingly hovers over the 6-foot-tall gingerbread house while more than 70 “bugs” scurry through the display.

Disneyland has worked up an elaborate gingerbread house for its Haunted Mansion Holiday for nearly 20 years. Now, The Nightmare Before Christmas is back at the fore in a big way, following a 13-year absence from the creep-tastic celebration. Take a look at some pics of the new gingerbread house below!

According to the Disney Parks Blog, the fantastical gingerbread creation will be on display at Disneyland's Haunted Mansion Holiday through January, so be sure to head over to the Magic Kingdom and check it out while you can!

“The gingerbread mansion this year has a bug problem—gingerbread bugs!” says Tim Wollweber, Disney Parks' associate art director and designer of this year's Nightmare Before Christmas gingerbread house. “But it's not a problem that a gingerbread Oogie Boogie can't fix. He pried open the roof of the gingerbread mansion and has his fork at the ready, happy to fix the infestation in the only way he would… by eating them!”
