Nine Inch Nails and Soundgarden announce summer tour

Soundgarden and Nine Inch Nails have announced they will be touring together this summer. The pair, who will be co-headlining, notably played together twenty years ago at Molson Park in Barrie, Ontario. 

That Canadian festival marked the beginning of what some referred to as a “professional competition” between them. 

“We had a chip on our shoulder about Soundgarden because their record [Superunknown] came out the same day Downward Spiral came out and they beat us to #1 on Billboard,” Trent Reznor once told EYE's Lisa Ladouceur. “That became a kind of professional showdown. Ticket pre-sale begins this Tuesday, March 18 at 10 AM local time with the password NINSG.
