Oli Sykes releases Elon Musk-inspired Drop Dead jacket, entrepreneur shares it

Oli Sykes has had a busy few months with Bring Me The Horizon, but that doesn’t mean he hasn’t been hard at work with his other endeavors.

In a new tweet posted today, it appears that the frontman has taken some inspiration from Elon Musk in a new jacket for his clothing line, Drop Dead.

The jacket in question is called the ‘Simulation Jacket,’ an all-black jacket with the words “We Feed The Simulation” written in white lettering across the back of it. As NME points out, the jacket’s quote seems to be in reference to Musk, who has often said that humanity is possibly a simulation.

After releasing the jacket, Musk soon took to social media to share his thoughts on the new jacket, and it appears that he approves. In a new tweet, Musk simply shared a photo of the back of the jacket with a caption that reads: “Bring Me The Horizon.”

To which Sykes quoted and shared: “Hope you like your jacket, you inspired it!”

The jacket is currently on sale on Drop Dead’s website for £110, which roughly translates to $125.

In other Oli Sykes and Bring Me The Horizon news, the band will be releasing their new album, Amo, on Jan. 25. You can preorder a copy of it here.

The band’s upcoming album is our first taste of new music from the English rockers since 2015’s That’s The Spirit, and according to frontman Oli Sykes, the record is their way of making an album that’s “heavy” and “catchy” in a new way.

In addition to the new album, Bring Me The Horizon will be bringing its cult members together later this year for a world tour.
