Original Paramore drummer calls playing on band's new album "a second chance"

Thanks to social media, we’ve had our fair share of updates from Paramore’s work on their new album. Back in July, we had a confirmation that the original Paramore drummer Zac Farro was back on board for the new record, and in a recent sit down with Billboard, Farro talks more about his return to Paramore for the new album, following the success of the group's self-titled release in 2013.

“It’s a second chance,” Farro says. “I’m so thankful that I’m playing on the album, but that wasn’t what was important to me at the beginning. What was important was mending those friendships… Hayley and [guitarist] Taylor [York] have become really good friends of mine again and they’re super supportive of my stuff.”

In 2010, Zac Farro and his brother Josh quit Paramore, citing differences with frontwoman Hayley Williams. Are you excited to see Farro reunited with the band for their upcoming release? Leave your thoughts in the comments and listen to Farro's full interview below!
