Original Thursday members reunited over the weekend

Over the weekend, the original members of Thursday reunited for the first time in five years.

Despite the occasion, however, frontman Geoff Rickly has clarified that this doesn’t mean a reunion is actually happening. “It’s because we haven’t seen each other since we broke up, five years ago,” he wrote on Twitter. “At one point, I thought we’d never be together in one place again… (There was even one point when it seemed like we’d never even speak to each other again.)” Read all of what he had to say below.

We started Thursday in 1998 and lived and traveled and worked together for almost 15 years, nonstop.
