Ozzy Osbourne postpones tour dates due to illness

Ozzy Osbourne has postponed the first four U.K. dates of his No More Tours 2 farewell tour after coming down with the flu. Judas Priest, who are accompanying Ozzy on the European run, announced the postponement Monday (Jan. 28).

The four affected Ozzy dates—which were set to begin this Wednesday in Dublin, Ireland, and continue with three shows in England—will be rescheduled at a later date, according to the Judas Priest Instagram post that first broke the news.

“It is with great regret we have to announce that the first four UK shows on the Ozzy Osbourne/Judas Priest tour have been postponed due to Ozzy having a very bad case of the flu,” the Rob Halford-fronted act revealed on social media.

This isn’t the first time health issues have caused Ozzy to back out of recent gigs. Last year, the rock icon postponed a group of shows before cancelling an entire tour following a hand infection that forced Osbourne to undergo surgery.

But fear not, Ozzy fans, for the Great Ozz claims he actually isn’t retiring any time soon, even though his current European jaunt (and subsequent North American concerts) are being billed as the rockstar’s final comprehensive world tour.
