Ozzy Osbourne’s son updates fans on father’s hospitalization

A few days ago, Ozzy Osbourne landed himself in the hospital after some complications with the flu. The hospitalization follows the rockstar’s decision to postpone the entire UK and European leg of his tour with Judas Priest due to an upper respiratory infection.

However, Osbourne’s son, Jack Osbourne has given fans an update on his father’s condition. Luckily, according to an Instagram selfie, the rocker appears to be doing better.

According to People, Osbourne paid his doctor a second visit and was diagnosed with a severe upper-respiratory infection. The doctor then advised Osbourne to not tour, just in case the infection got worse and turned into pneumonia.

“I’m completely devastated for having to postpone the European leg of my tour,” Osbourne says in a statement. “It just seems that since October everything I touch has turned to s—.”

Yesterday, Sharon Osbourne took to Twitter to share the news of her husband’s hospitalization.

“As some of you may have heard, Ozzy was admitted to hospital following some complications from the flu,” Sharon says in a tweet. “His doctors feel this is the best way to get him on a quicker road to recovery. Thanks to everyone for their concern and love.”

We are sending our thoughts to Ozzy’s family and wishing the rockstar a speedy recovery at this time.
