After flooding canceled Palaye Royale’s show in Vancouver, the band decided to take things outside for an acoustic, stripped-down session on the venue’s sidewalk.

Palaye Royale then took to Twitter earlier this evening to share a short video of their efforts.

“We are here at the Rickshaw Theater,” frontman Remington Leith says. “They flooded the venue — not on purpose — so we decided to take things outside to these people.”

After gesturing to the crowd outside, the band decided to play some acoustic renditions of their songs. In the video, the band can be heard playing “Teenage Heartbreak Queen.” You can watch the video below.

Of course, fans are responding well to the band’s decision to play outside.
