To the extreme relief of fans everywhere, Palaye Royale finally dropped the second of two promised singles.

Following the release of the first track, "Fucking With My Head" a few weeks ago, the band held up their vow to fans by dropping "Nervous Breakdown" at the stroke of midnight.

After not-so-patiently waiting for news on the second song, Palaye finally gave a date for fans to mark on the calendar the day before the Fourth Of July.

Following the date dropping, the band shared another sneak peek at drummer Emerson Barrett’s upcoming comic thanks to the amount of love The Royal Council gave the announcement.

“The Royal Council has decoded our binary messages and commented over 20,000 times, resulting in ‘Nervous Breakdown’ music video being released a day early. Here is two pages from our upcoming Neoutopian Graphic Novel @emersonbarrett & @xobillie #NervousBreakdown #GraphicNovel,” the tweet reads.

Now, at long last, the new song is here, continuing with the much-teased ties to Lieseil Inc. Like “Fucking With My Head,” the new track’s video is inspired by Barrett’s Neutopian Graphic Novel. The new video picks up where the last left off as gas mask-wearing figures whisk the band away.

“‘Nervous Breakdown’ is the continuation of the story we started with the video for ‘Fucking With My Head,’ the band shared in a statement. “As the new era is beginning to be revealed, the viewer is cryptically introduced to Lieseil Inc and Warhol Stars.

“For the past seven years of our career, we have been hinting at this in lyrics, music videos and artwork like an existential maze for the fans to figure out and link together. Recently, we have been posting in binary and Morse code leading the fans further into the secrets of the conceptual story. Every new piece of material released is further insight into the world that we have created.”
