Pale Waves have dropped another single, “Jealousy.” The band also shared a music video to go with the new track.

Pale Waves’ upcoming album, Unwanted, drops Aug. 12 via Dirty Hit.

Each verse of “Jealousy” is akin to a blade grinding against a whetstone. The vocals are just barely covered by the gritty tones of their accompaniment. When the chorus comes around, Heather Baron-Gracie‘s voice has obtained a razor’s edge, and every other sonic element is cleft by her enthusiastic delivery.

“Some may see it as ridiculous,” Baron-Gracie says, “but I love a bit of jealousy — not too much, but just enough… I want jealousy in a relationship because it shows me the person only has eyes for me and me only.”

Pale Waves are currently supporting 5 Seconds Of Summer on their U.S. tour. Additionally, the band are scheduled to appear for several international festivals and solo dates. Make sure to grab tickets here.
