Brendon Urie opens Notes For Notes studio for young musicians
Panic! At The Disco frontman, Brendon Urie opened Notes For Notes, a new music studio aimed to help young people create music, at the Boys and Girls Club in Henderson, Nevada.
The studio was also made possible with a $500,000 donation from State Farm, who Urie began partnering with in 2018 during the companies Neighborhood Of Good campaign.

Urie became a mentor at the Boys & Girls Club to influence kids and help them build confidence to follow their dreams.
Now, the singer opened a new studio at the Boys and Girls Club in Henderson to further help students develop their craft.
“I can tell you right now, if I had these tools at your age, the band would have taken off when I was 12.” Urie tells Las Vegas KTNV. “You’re probably going to get a sped-up version of what I got.”
The Fender Play Foundation also donated $10K worth of guitars, amps and gear, as well as subscriptions and full access to their app.
Andy Bischel, CEO of the Boys and Girls Club of Southern Nevada says they’re sure the studio will have a positive impact on their students.
“We know if they spend time with us, great outcomes happen,” he says. “So that music component is really powerful.”
The organization will hopefully have the studio open within the coming month as soon as they hire teachers.

In November, Brendon Urie announced he was hosting a Twitch stream to raise funds for the Highest Hopes Foundation, and he had along Josh Dun and Pete Wentz help out a little too.
The musicians streamed themselves playing video games and once they raised over $75,000, they premiered a brand new metal track live.
Donations of $10 received a prize raffle entry with $25 donations earning a gift. The musician is also playing Fortnite without a weapon at $10,000 raised and at $50,000 he played a drum solo live. After donations reached $75,000, Urie ended up premiering his new metal song.
The song has a heavy Architects vibe to it in the riffs with a speedy main part, some solid cleans in the chorus and a meaty breakdown to cap it off. Check it out here.
