Brendon Urie turns himself into an X-rated Muppet in new video

In addition to dropping their highly anticipated release, Panic! At The Disco also graced us with a vibrant new music video for “Hey Look Ma, I Made It.” The song derives from Panic!’s latest album, Pray For The Wicked, out today.

With hopes running high, Panic! certainly did not disappoint. With listening parties popping up all over the country, the band kept the night alive.

Using fun, energetic shots and an attentive color scheme, the new video reflects Pray For The Wicked’s jazzy vibe perfectly. Directed by Brandon Dermer, the video for “Hey Look Ma, I Made It” shows what can happen if you let fame get the best of you.

In the video, Brendon Urie turns himself into an X-rated Muppet, snorting cocaine and vomiting on high-class escorts. The puppet itself is strikingly on point with Urie’s facial structure.

To make matters better, we even got a little cameo in the new video. Sure, we’re called “Ternative Press” in the shoutout, but we are definitely geeking about it anyway. Check it out below.

With one of the most dedicated fanbases of any band to date, Panic! enthusiasts are already analyzing the video, with speculation that it serves as a metaphor for the relationship between a record label and the artist. Artists often sign with the first record label that offers them a record deal, only for them to be turned into a puppet with the strings being in the hands of their manager.

Additionally, Panic! At The Disco will be hitting the road with Two Feet. Tickets are on sale for the Pray For The Wicked tour here.
