Panic! At The Disco’s “Emperor’s New Clothes” wins Best Music Video at 2016 APMAs

Panic! At The Disco’s “Emperor’s New Clothes” has won Best Music Video, presented by Journeys, at the 2016 Alternative Press Music Awards!

“Hello AP Awards and hello columbus. Thank you so, so much to the fans that voted. That’s phenomenal—I can’t believe it,” says Panic! At The Disco’s Brendon Urie in his video acceptance speech. “I’m really sorry I couldn’t accept this award in person—thank you guys very much.” Panic! At The Disco are currently on tour with Weezer and couldn't attend this year's show.

Following a fan vote, the band won over fellow nominees All Time Low, August Burns Red, State Champs, the Wonder Years and Twenty One Pilots.

Panic! At The Disco are also nominated for are also nominated for Artist Of The Year and Song Of The Year for “Hallelujah” at the 2016 awards.

Frontman Brendon Urie took home the award for Best Vocalist at the 2014 APMAs.

The band’s latest album, Death Of A Bachelor, released in January of this year. They are currently out on tour with Weezer supporting the record.
