Paramore may have drunkenly covered Christmas carols in 2010

After Father/Daughter Records asked into the Twitter void why Paramore had never made a holiday album, Hayley Williams fired back with a link of the band drunkenly singing Christmas carols in 2010. You can listen to the compilation in all its glory below.

Williams quoted the record label’s tweet, saying “where were you christmas 2010 while we were decking the mf halls?”

Of course, when fans opened the link, they got an extra surprise. Upon listening to the recording, many fans began speculating that the band were drunk.

Williams then responded, saying that they were not completely “hammered.” Instead, they were just emotional about losing two members of the band at the time, Josh and Zac Farro.

In combination with an overwhelming passion for the Christmas and conflicting emotions, we got… Well, this.

The song itself features tidbits from Christmas classics such as “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” “Frosty the Snowman,” “Jingle Bells” and many others.
