Paramore cover Talking Heads’ “Burning Down the House”

Last year, Talking HeadsStop Making Sense got a whole new life when it was re-released in theaters as part of its 40th anniversary. It’s easily one of the best concert films ever, and now A24 has announced Everyone’s Getting Involved: A Tribute to Talking Heads’ Stop Making Sense.

Paramore, who teased their cover of “Burning Down the House” last month, are the first of 16 artists to tackle a song from the 1984 live album Stop Making Sense. The cover is a joy and makes a lot of sense, as Paramore cited Talking Heads as an influence on After Laughter and carried the feeling into their latest album, This Is Why.
