Paramore encourage fans to be active in democracy

Get out the vote with Paramore, y'all! Hayley, Taylor and Zac are teaming up with non-profit organization HeadCount to encourage fans' participation in democracy during the band's upcoming summer tour—check it out below.

Paramore are among a handful of artists and festivals working with HeadCount to promote fans' involvement in democracy and get young people registered to vote in time for the midterm elections that happen this November.

“We're partnering with HeadCount to give people a chance to register to vote before midterm elections,” singer Hayley Williams said in a statement, as reported by Broadway World. “They'll be at the shows all summer and we'd like to encourage young people coming out to take this chance to make their presence known and their convictions noted.”

HeadCount will also be rockin' along with Dave Matthews Band, Jack Johnson, G-Eazy and David Byrne—plus over 40 summer festivals such as Lollapalooza and Warped Tour—to get people registered to vote this year.
