Patrick Stump, Common featured on new Robert Glasper Experiment song, "I Stand Alone"

Fall Out Boy's Patrick Stump and rapper Common are both featured on a newly-released track from the Robert Glasper Experiment, the fusion project of Grammy Award-winning pianist and record producer Robert Glasper.

Titled “I Stand Alone,” the song is set to appear on Glasper's upcoming Black Radio 2, a followup to last year's Black Radio, slated for release Oct. 29 via Blue Note.

Listen to “I Stand Alone” below, via Rolling Stone:

Stump is no stranger to stepping outside of Fall Out Boy's genre for collaborations, especially within the world of hip hop and R&B. The singer has previously worked with acts such as The Roots, Timbaland, and Tyga, and has written for Bruno Mars and Lupe Fiasco, among others. Stump's own solo effort, 2011's Soul Punk, also bore heavy funk and R&B elements.

You can catch Patrick on tour now with Fall Out Boy. The Robert Glasper Experiment also have a handful of performances scheduled, with dates available here.
