Here's the 'Pet Sematary' remake synopsis

Stephen King‘s Pet Sematary has cast its kids.

Plus, Paramount revealed the film’s official synopsis.

King’s Pet Sematary is coming back to the big screen, and it’s time to get excited because filming has started.

After revealing Jason Clarke and Amy Seimetz will play Louis and Rachel Creed, now Entertainment Weekly is sharing who are the actors cast as the Creed kids.

Jeté Laurence will play Ellie and three-year-old twins Hugo and Lucas Lavoie will be Gage, her little brother.

Paramount Pictures also shared the reboot’s official synopsis:

“Based on the seminal horror novel by Stephen King, Pet Sematary follows Dr. Louis Creed, who, after relocating with his wife Rachel and their two young children from Boston to rural Maine, discovers a mysterious burial ground hidden deep in the woods near the family’s new home. When tragedy strikes, Louis turns to his unusual neighbor, Jud Crandall (Lithgow), setting off a perilous chain reaction that unleashes an unfathomable evil with horrific consequences.”

Dennis Widmyer and Kevin Kolsch will direct the film.

Pet Sematary is due to arrive in theaters April 19, 2019.
