Pete Davidson shouted out his bff Machine Gun Kelly yet again on Saturday Night Live, because they are always friendship goals.

This past weekend, actor Adam Sandler hosted the show, and played Davidson’s long-lost father in a sketch called “Chad’s Journey.”

Davidson plays Chad, a character created by Sandler when he was on SNL. It shows Davidson heading to heaven after an unfortunate microwave accident. An angel introduces him to his father by introducing him to “someone (he’s) wanted to meet (his) entire life.”

“Thanos?” Davidson guesses. Then he says “Machine Gun Kelly?”

The sketch didn’t appear on-air, but was uploaded to YouTube. You can check it out below.

Davidson isn’t the only one in that duo with jokes. MGK recently lost a bet to the SNL star and had to do stand-up comedy for the first time at Davidson’s sold-out show.

Let’s not forget that they’re so close that Davidson let the rapper tattoo him for real in a scene of Big Time Adolescence. Also, in MGK’s upcoming album Hotel Diablo, he seemingly name drops Davidson on a track. You can see a clip of that below.

Other MGK news

Back in December, MGK announced he scrapped his entire fourth full-length. At the time, the rapper took to Instagram to share he reached almost 500 million streams on Spotify in 2018.

However, the rapper also used the post as an opportunity to tell fans that he hasn’t stopped thinking about his fourth album.

“Half a billion streams this year,” the rapper says in the Instagram post. “Very grateful but I didn’t give you the 4th album and I can’t stop thinking about that. I finally figured out what I’m gonna call it last night and I’m starting it all over from scratch. This one’s from the soul.”

The following month, he shared what could be some new album beats. Then in February, MGK popped up in the studio with Barker, suggesting for the first time on this album cycle that they were working together on something. Days later, the aforementioned clips of the duo and YUNGBLUD were shared.

Shortly after, MGK revealed the upcoming record is going to be “just as honest” as sophomore full-length General Admission.

In recent news, MGK made us all freak out last week when he was spotted in the studio with YUNGBLUD and Travis Barker which sent fans into a frenzy. The rapper eventually explained the clips, and teased a song with the two.

Also, his producer just teased a track from the upcoming album that could be in honor of Nipsey Hussel.

Machine Gun Kelly kicks off his tour at the end of this month. Tickets are on sale now with dates available below. YUNGBLUD is also hitting the road later this month with dates below and tickets available here.
