Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz is set to co-write his first graphic novel called Dying Inside.

While not much is known about the plot, Hannah Klein (best known for the Snapchat series Everything Is Fine) will co-write with the Fall Out Boy bassist. Lisa Sterle (Submerged, Witchblood) will design the artwork.

“Creating a new graphic novel with Vault and one of my favorite writers, Hannah Klein, has been an insane experience, in the best possible way,” Wentz shares. “Between her perspective, honesty and super dark sense of humor and Vault’s creative support throughout the entire process, I’m excited to share it with the world soon.”

The project will be released through Headshell, a new imprint of Vault Comics, which will feature graphic novels written by Metallica, Def Leppard, the Beach Boys and more.

While Fall Out Boy haven’t released a studio album since 2018’s MANIA, the members remain busy. Guitarist Joe Trohman wrote a memoir, None of This Rocks, that was released in September. Meanwhile, Wentz appeared on nothing, nowhere.’s “CYAN1DE,” out today, which features Take This To Your Grave-era screams.
