Picturesque return to the scene of all of their “Crimes”—watch
Picturesque kicked off this week with a simple question: Who killed Kyle Hollis? The alt act continued the suspenseful teasing over the next few days, leaving fans on edge. Now, the band are teaming up with AltPress to exclusively reveal the fate of their frontman through the cinematic new video for “Crimes.”
Picturesque—Hollis, bassist Jordan Greenway and guitarists Zach Williamson and Dylan Forrester—took their teasing to the next level with some pretty convincing mugshots.

The four-piece even went so far as to launch a poll to collect fans’ opinions on who did the deed, listing off each member and new drummer Jade Castello.

The video focuses on Hollis grappling with inner turmoil by himself in a hotel room. Having recently found himself separated from a six-year relationship, the frontman uses “Crimes” to continue the commentary on toxic dating culture.
Following previous dives into the dark side of hookups in “Swipe” and “Pray,” the band used “Crimes” to continue to explore their sound.

“‘Crimes’ is our way of getting weird on this record and showing our listeners a new side of us they haven’t heard,” Hollis explains. “We wanted to think outside the box, and I feel like we created something exciting and fresh.”
Following their teamup on “Swipe,” the band returned to work with director J.T. Ibanez (Slaves, P.O.D., Ashland). Check out the new music video below.
Picturesque will be kicking off a short run this week with support from Makari. The two-day Boo Ya Fest is among their stops, with both bands playing night two at Kingsland in Brooklyn. They’ll be joining a stacked lineup spanning both days featuring Such Gold, Handguns, Forever Came Calling, Slaves and more.
The following night, they‘ll hit the inaugural Horror On The Hudson in Poughkeepsie. They’ll be joining Slaves again as well as Oceana, Everyone Dies In Utah, Pros & iCons, Young Medicine and more.
