Pierce The Veil release first new music in six years with vibey single

Pierce The Veil fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of new music since 2016. Finally, that wait has come to an end with “Pass The Nirvana.” The single shows a vibey and more ’90s-inspired sound that’s reminiscent of Deftones and Failure while still retaining their classic post-hardcore sound. Lyrically, “Pass The Nirvana” touches on the tragic and unprecedented events that have transpired in the modern world over the past few years, leaving the next generation rattled and more anxious than ever. However, there’s a silver lining throughout the track, as it’s meant to offer a feeling of peaceful dissociation from the madness. Pierce The Veil will return to the stage this month alongside I Prevail and Fit For A King, with Yours Truly and Stand Atlantic on select dates.

Check out the actors set to portray the infamous duo Milli Vanilli in an upcoming biopic

With the news of a biopic centered around the divisive musical duo Milli Vanilli, the production company behind the upcoming project has just shared the first image of the two lead actors set to portray the iconic lip-syncing pair Fabrice Morvan and Robert Pilatus. Actors Elan Ben Ali and Tijan Njie bear striking resemblance to the German-French duo, and we couldn’t be more excited to see them bring the shocking story of Milli Vanilli to life. Girl You Know It’s True, named after their 1988 breakout single, is set to begin production soon and will document the scandalous revelations that the musical duo was in fact lip-syncing the majority of their music while not crediting the official vocalists responsible for the performances. This resulted in the duo having their Grammy Award for Best New Artist rescinded, marking the end of their career.
