More on Travis Barker
Travis Barker has had quite the year so far. Along with teaming up with Machine Gun Kelly for the No. 1 album Tickets To My Downfall, he has also been working on blink-182’s follow-up to NINE.
Now, it looks like the blink-182 drummer has taken a break from his busy recording schedule to add another tattoo to his ever-growing collection.
Recently, Barker shared a video of himself getting inked by the legendary tattoo artist Dr. Woo. Barker added the latest tattoo of a rose on the side of his face, just below his cross tattoo.
Although he hasn't shared what the true meaning of the rose tattoo is, the flower often symbolizes both love and passion. The new tattoo may also look familiar because he already has a few other rose tattoos inked on his body.
Back in 2015, he told Vice some of the meanings behind his other head tattoos.
“There’s my Transplants gas mask at the back. There’s a script that says ‘one life, one chance,'” he says. “There’s praying hands from [tattoo artist] Mister Cartoon I got done when I was 19. There’s a rose from Chouey. On the top, there’s the Virgin Mary.”
