Lil Uzi Vert – “XO Tour Llif3”

Lil Uzi Vert is no stranger to the rock world with the rapper sporting a Marilyn Manson chain and citing Hayley Williams as a mega-influence. As a result, it’s only fitting his multi-platinum single got the pop-punk treatment by Boston rockers Driveways.

Lady Gaga – “Million Reasons”

The original track from Lady Gaga’s latest Joanne is an emotionally charged ballad, but the Thoughtlife’s pop-punk take gives “Million Reasons” a refreshing twist.

Auliʻi Cravalho – “How Far I’ll Go” from Moana

YouTuber Jarrod Alonge is best known for his satires of alternative culture including “Every Pop Punk Vocalist” and “How To Pronounce Band Names” as well as video collabs with Issues, Attila, Sleeping With Sirens and more. Alonge has also created fictional bands of different genres, which includes pop-punk act Sunrise Skater Kids, who have given the world this cover of “How Far I’ll Go” from Disney’s Moana in addition to original songs.

The Chainsmokers – “Closer” featuring Halsey

With a song that references blink-182, it’s only natural that a pop-punk cover would appear.

Ed Sheeran mashup

Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran can often be found with an acoustic guitar in hand, but YouTuber Dave Days opened our eyes to what Sheeran would sound like if he had put a little more punk in his pop.

Drake – “Hotline Bling”

Drake’s “Hotline Bling” music video dance spawned quite the meme a few years ago. While his chilled moves may not fit as well to this pop-punk version, the track still remains just as catchy.

Post Malone – “Congratulations”

Post Malone might be known for being a rapper, but the “Rockstar” singer has also dabbled in other genres by covering Green Day and sparking speculation of a Bring Me The Horizon collab. A rock cover totally works.

The Weeknd – “The Hills”

SoCal’s Coastbound took the Weeknd’s haunting pop hit and sped it up for a pop-punk banger.

Idina Menzel – “Let It Go” from Frozen

Back in 2013, it was hard to escape all things Frozen upon the film’s release. This was especially true when it came to “Let It Go,” so the Last Sleepless City’s pop-punk rework is a welcome refresh.

Luis Fonsi – “Despacito” featuring Daddy Yankee

Latin pop singer Luis Fonsi teamed with rapper Daddy Yankee (both hailing from Puerto Rico) to produce the mega-hit “Despacito” last year. Justin Bieber appeared on an English re-release, but this pop-punk version reimagines the original Spanish track.

Halsey – “Bad At Love”

Halsey’s music is an expert blend of many genres, and the singer has revealed a love for the scene from performing with Panic! At The Disco to checking out Mayday Parade, so this rockin’ cover of “Bad At Love” by the Cause & The Cure only makes sense.

Harry Styles – “Sign Of The Times”

Post-One Direction Harry Styles ventured into more of a rock-tinged solo career marked by the platinum piano ballad “Sign Of The Times,” which still works as an upbeat pop-punk anthem courtesy of duo TeraBrite.

Taylor Swift – “Bad Blood”

Taylor Swift is the driving force behind many of modern music’s earworms including her 2014 hit “Bad Blood” (whose video includes a Hayley Williams appearance). But the track somehow becomes even more catchy when presented in a pop-punk arrangement by Swedish duo Twenty One Two.
