Post Malone song leads people to reveal they don't know Ozzy Osbourne

Post Malone recently dropped his latest album Hollywood’s Bleeding filled with collabs by Halsey, Travis Scott and even Ozzy Osbourne.

The rapper previously revealed how that final unexpected collab came to be, but many fans online are reportedly just discovering Ozzy Osbourne thanks to the tattooed rapper. We wish we were kidding, and we hope they are.

The rock legend features on the track “Take What You Want” with Scott as well. It’s honestly a rap-rock banger that we have been obsessing over. Before we give you the disappointing news, we can get you in a good mood by letting you listen to the track first down below.

OK now here’s where it gets bad — people online seem to think that Ozzy Osbourne is an undiscovered artist that Posty is shining a light on for the first time. They’re actually talking about the Prince of Darkness himself. You can see a few examples below.

Metal fans everywhere caught wind and had to share their disbelief that people actually seem to have no idea who Ozzy is.

We’re disappointed to say the least.

As previously mentioned, the rapper recently unveiled how the unusual collab ended up happening in the first place.

“Ozzy Osbourne, baby. I was in Utah because I had just got off tour. It’s good, right? Ozzy went over to Watt’s house,” Post said on Beats 1 Radio.  “You’ve talked a lot before. He’s a maniac. I said, ‘Hey, you know what? Ozzy Osborne’s coming down, we’re going to cut it and I’ll FaceTime you. And you let me know what’s going on.”

“We talked and it was like a big deal. Yeah. Ozzy Osbourne. I think he crushed it. I mean he was talking to Watt and Watt was telling me he was like this, ‘Yo, this is my favourite that I’ve done since you know, Sabbath and since I started my own, own way.’ I was like, ‘That’s huge.’ I’m like honoured. Thank you very much.”

Do you think of people online really don’t know who Ozzy Osbourne was until he collabed with Post Malone, or is it some solid Internet sarcasm? Sound off in the comments down below!
