'Prometheus' sequel confirmed by director

Ridley Scott will be turning 78 years old in November, but he’s not letting his age halt his movie-making. The director has confirmed that a sequel to 2012’s science-fiction thriller Prometheus will be his next endeavor. “I was already on to my next movie!” he revealed in a reply to Matt Damon’s claim that he had put the finishing touches on Martian only two weeks after filming had ended. “I was starting to look for locations for my next movie, which is Prometheus 2.”
