Punk Rock Bowling pushes festival into 2021 with new confirmed dates

Punk Rock Bowling And Music Festival has been officially postponed. The announcement was made today in response to the escalation of the coronavirus pandemic. The festival will honor passes and tickets for this year’s event for the new dates, slated for May 28 -31, 2021 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

After pushing the event from its original spring date to fall, Punk Rock Bowling promoters Mark and Shawn Stern chose to postpone the event entirely.

“After much deliberation and in an abundance of caution, we are sorry to inform everyone that we have had to make the difficult decision to postpone the 2020 Punk Rock Bowling Tournament And Music Festival until 2021,” the Sterns said in a statement. “The current coronavirus pandemic’s rapid acceleration is a clear and ongoing threat to everyone. We feel it’s in the best interest of the fans, bands, and all of our wonderful staff and partners that we do not risk anyone’s health.”

“Over the last six months, we put our heart and soul into making the festival the best Punk Rock Bowling to date,” they continue. “Unfortunately, with travel up in the air, work visas for bands hard to obtain and a precarious economy, we couldn’t in good conscience ask everyone to plan for a great weekend in Vegas with the possibility that we would be told two months out that it will not happen again. The world needs to plow through this pandemic and take some time to heal, and we want to give everyone that time.”
“We want to be as fair and as transparent as possible because we are all in this together.  Your ticket will automatically apply for the new dates in May 2021, but if you cannot make it, you will have the option for a full refund.
Thank you for your continued patience and support as we try to navigate through these difficult times. We hope you are all safe and stay healthy to close out this year and we will see you in Las Vegas next year!”
Punk Rock Bowling 2020 had a lineup that included the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Streetlight Manifesto, Bouncing Souls, Circle Jerks and many more. Information on how the lineup will change for 2021 will be forthcoming. Fans unable to make the rescheduled date may apply for refunds before May 1 via the PRB site.
