Queens Of The Stone Age to begin recording '...Like Clockwork' followup later this year

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme announced plans to enter the studio in late 2014 to begin work on the group's followup to last summer's …Like Clockwork.

Homme tells Rolling Stone:

“We have more than enough songs. We're booked til September, but after that we plan to jump in the studio and get going.”

Assuming it is not a drawn-out recording process, we can expect a much quicker turnaround between Clockwork and the group's seventh full-length, which is likely to land in 2015. Queens took six years to release …Like Clockwork following its predecessor, Era Vulgaris.

Queens Of The Stone Age toured extensively throughout 2013, and will continue to traverse the globe through summertime. Below, check out a full list of dates, including a just-announced slot at Coachella:
