Rage Against The Machine fans speculate new show after cryptic tease

Rage Against The Machine make their return this year and with the anticipation of their comeback, fans are hoping that the group will announce more shows. They might just be in luck.

Pittsburgh, PA radio station 105.9 The X recently posted a photo to social media which might be hinting to another announcement.

RATM released four albums during their initial run: a self-titled in 1992, Evil Empire in 1996, The Battle Of Los Angeles in 1999 and Renegades in 2000.

After parting ways in 2000, the band released the cover album Renegades in December. A live album, Live At The Grand Olympic Auditorium, was released in 2003 featuring recordings from their final shows in Los Angeles in September 2000.

The band later reunited at Coachella in 2007, stoking the flames of a reunion theory even more for a similar return.

In November, the band confirmed a set of reunion shows, including a set at Coachella.

The band shared a short clip on their Twitter account, writing, “Yes…it’s true…2020…?,” in reply to the previously teased image.

These are the group’s first shows together since 2011 at L.A Rising.

In a now-deleted tweet, The X posted a photo of RATM’s famed red star with no caption, leaving fans to wonder what it could mean.

One fan saved the image they tweeted before the station deleted the post.

Some Twitter users are hoping the post means RATM is going to Pittsburg sometime this year.

To make the radio station’s post all the more interesting, RATM made a post of their own on Instagram.

The image shows what looks like a torn poster decorated with a masked figure. Beside it are the dates that have already been announced, but it looks like the bottom half of the poster has been torn off. There was no caption included.

Could this mean there’s supposed to be additional dates on the poster?

We aren’t sure what the post means, but we hope the band will announce more performances soon.

As stated before, there are a confirmed few dates for performances this year, but the band has not announced where they will be playing except for the festivals.
