Refused donate proceeds from VIP tickets to Migrant Offshore Aid Station

Refused donated all the proceeds from VIP and meet & greet packages to Migrant Offshore Aid Station (MOAS).

The packages were offered on the band's North American tour with Plague Vendor and the Coathangers. Over $3,000 was raised for the charity!

MOAS is “a charity dedicated to saving lives at sea by providing professional search and rescue to people who are in distress,” according to their website. In its first two years, the charity has rescued 12,000 people at sea.

“To be blunt, MOAS is doing what the EU would be doing if it was a functioning political entity. They're getting shit done, picking drowning children, women and men out of the ocean and putting them on European shores. It's crucial work and a no-brainer for us to get behind,” drummer David Sandström says.

Last summer, Refused released their first album in 17 years, Freedom. The band are supporting Deftones on their upcoming tour and will be at Riot Fest Chicago.
