Divided By Night

Addicts, be it meth or techno, age just as horrendously, as former child stars clinging to the same youthful seductions. When the Crystal Method say they don't like formulas–just before one endures the patchwork museum piece that is Divided By Night–it's clear the problems of addiction to old squelchy presets and tired song structures has its own tedious soundtrack. This is electronic by numbers–replace the dude from Filter with Matisyahu, lather, rinse and repeat-which decays faster than an unstable isotope. So follow suit and allow this inconsequential ad fodder to fade into nothingness like vapor from a pipe. Contributors Peter Hook ("Dirty Thirty") and Emily Haines ("Come Back Clean") are so much better than this.)
