[3] The third release from Salton Sea’s Throw Rag cranks the Macho Quotient considerably with rockabilly swagger and cock-rock sleaziness on 13 Ft. And Rising. Parts of the album are a bit overcooked-writing a song with the chorus “Don’t give a fuck” is the easiest way to indicate that you do, in fact, give a fuck-and a set-ending powwow with Jello Biafra and Keith Morris goes horribly awry. But overall, this is loud and loutish fun, and when Lenny Kilmister guests on the surly “Tonight The Bottle Let Me Down,” he fits like a glove you shouldn’t smell under any circumstances.
