Bane

The Note

[5] If the all the insider speculation is correct, and this really is the final album by this most respected of hardcore crews, then Bane and their fans can rest comfortably knowing they went with the best of their career. Sure, the last track is titled “Swan Song,” and the morose-sounding “End With An Ellipse” has Aaron Bedard singing, “Keep right on dancing while that curtain is closing,” but adrenaline-fueled ragers like “One For The Boys” and “Hoods Up” will get pits going in the most conservative corners of Utah. Plus, while “Pot Committed”s piano break, the melodic guitar doubling in “Wasted On The Young” and the artwork’s storyboard style will satiate both the jaded and dedicated.
