[2/5] An old-school hesher acquaintance of mine once pointed out that metal’s originality level would never be the same once tab books from Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax and Megadeth started hitting stores. Ol’ Knuckles (no, really, that was his nickname) may have had a point, as it would be easy to blame the lack of imagination expressed by very young, very talented musicians like the Autumn Offering on the fact that it takes about nine seconds to find tabs of your favorite songs online. Then again, no one told this Daytona Beach quintet they had to clinically dissect and regurgitate the last two Shadows Fall albums. But they went ahead and did it anyway.
