Rob Zombie says ‘3 From Hell’ has “many bizarre cameos” in it
We've been anxiously awaiting Rob Zombie's 3 From Hell, a highly anticipated follow-up to House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects. Luckily, Rob Zombie has given us a small insight as to what "bizarre" things this film may hold.
Zombie took to Instagram over the weekend to share a photo from the movie while confirming the film has "many bizarre cameos in it"... including one from Chaz Bono.
"Recognize this man? It's Chaz Bono. One of the many bizarre cameos in THREE FROM HELL," Zombie writes in his post.
Bono shared the same image, adding:
"So excited to announce that I have a cameo in @robzombieofficial new film, Three From Hell. If you’re familiar with my work, then you can probably understand how much I’ve wanted work with Rob. As a fan, I can’t wait to see this film!"
Now we're wondering who else is making an appearance in the film...
More on 3 From Hell...
While the movie is CLOSE to being done, it's still not complete.
The musician/filmmaker took to Instagram to clarify the last movie of his horror trilogy isn’t quite done yet.
Earlier this week, Zombie shared a post on Instagram that led fans to believe the last installment of the trilogy was finally done.
“It took awhile to complete the trilogy but we did it,” Zombie wrote. “Top pic is shooting House of 1000 Corpses in 2001 – shooting The Devil’s Rejects in 2004 and finally shooting 3 From Hell in 2018. Quite a Fucking journey to say the least.”
The series of horror movies started with 2003’s House Of 1000 Corpses and continued with 2005’s The Devil’s Rejects. Fans have been waiting for the sequel for over ten years, which explains why they were so quick to get excited about the new movie.
However, it appears the work on 3 From Hell isn’t quite done yet. Zombie took to Instagram again on Jan. 17 to clarify his previous statement.
“So folks seem confused by my post saying I completed my Rejects trilogy,” he shares. I said the trilogy is complete but the movie 3 From Hell is not finished yet. Still got a couple months of work left.”
“It’s getting there and it is fucking awesome,” Zombie continues.
What we know so far
It seems were going to wait a little bit longet to get the movie, but the important thing it it’s coming. Plus, we know the Rob Zombie movie will be filled with “gratuitous violence” and yet stand out in a way different from its predecessors.
The new sequel seemingly continues the story of murderous drifters Otis Driftwood (Bill Moseley), Captain Spaulding (Sid Haig) and “Baby” (played by Zombie’s wife, Sheri Moon Zombie). Other cast include Danny Trejo and Clint Howard.
