The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has announced the nominees for 2022. A total of 17 acts have been nominated, including New York DollsMC5, Kate Bush and DEVO.

Seven of the nominees have been nominated for the first time. The first timers include Eminem, Beck, Duran Duran, Dolly Parton, Lionel Richie, Carly Simon and A Tribe Called Quest.

This was the first year Eminem was eligible to receive a nomination. The rule is an artist must have released their first commercial recording 25 years before the year of the nomination.

Inductees are decided by a body of more than 1,000 artists, industry members and historians, but fans have the opportunity to contribute to the selection process. You can vote every day from Feb. 2 to April 29, either online here at the Rock Hall website or in person at the museum in Ohio.

At the time of writing, Pat Benatar is in the lead with 16,754 votes. Dolly Parton follows with 13,353 votes. Duran Duran, Eurythmics and Eminem are also in the top five.
