With a sellout crowd of 135,000 in attendance, 2017 marked the most successful run of Rock On The Range's 11-year timeline. The festival took place May 19, 20 and 21 at MAPFRE Stadium in Columbus, Ohio. The weekend-long event started off with a few challenges; inclement weather forced several bands to perform later than scheduled, and the unexpected tragedy of Chris Cornell's passing left the entire music industry in a state of shock and grief.

However, music has the magical capability of shining a hopeful light on any situation. The tragic event quickly turned into a wonderful opportunity and several acts made some last-minute setlist changes to incorporate a tribute to the Soundgarden vocalist.
This year's largest and most acclaimed rock festival in the U.S. featured 60 bands on three stages— including co-headliners Korn and Metallica, along with the Offspring, Volbeat, Primus, Bush, Live, Papa Roach, Seether, Coheed & Cambria, the Pretty Reckless, Taking Back Sunday, Pierce The Veil and many more.
